The Society's Newsletter is edited by Cynthia Brown.
The LAHS Newsletter is circulated to members by email in March, June, September and December. Members who do not have an email can request a hard copy by contacting the LAHS Membership Secretary at membership@lahs.org.uk. The Newsletter is also available on the LAHS website at Newsletter - LAHS.
The Newsletter provides updates on LAHS activities, including forthcoming lectures, awards of grants from its various funds, and news from its Library at The Guildhall, Leicester. It also includes information on recent publications, and forthcoming events such as talks, exhibitions and conferences across Leicester and Leicestershire, along with short articles on the archaeology and history of the city and county.
The Newsletter Editor welcomes items for inclusion in the Newsletter from members of the Society or local organisations and individuals who would like to publicise their own activities. Articles should be up to 500 words in length, and accompanied by an image if possible. Contributions can be sent by email to newsletter@lahs.org.uk, preferably by the end of the first week of February, May, August and November.
The Editor also circulates information and news to LAHS members in between Newsletters, so please feel free to inform her of these at any time.
