Public Heritage Grant Funding for Kirby Muxloe History Group

The supported project will produce an interesting and informative website to promote and share the history and archaeology of the village.

The website will provide a valuable resource for the village, schools, genealogists, and researchers further afield. The current website has become obsolete so a professional company will develop the new online resource.

The village of Kirby Muxloe has a significant archaeological and historical heritage and it has played a significant part in the history of the county but also that of the country itself. This project will endeavour to bring this history, not just to the community but to a much wider public.
