Kirby Muxloe History Group Launch New Website

A great new resource funded by the LAHS Public Heritage Fund.

Kirby Muxloe History Group are pleased to announce the launch of their new website, following months of dedicated work by their committee to create an informative and entertaining resource for those interested in the history and archaeology of this Leicestershire village. It was created by Leicestershire designer, Jennie Hollier of Lupella Digital Media.

It includes a timeline of events in the village, an overview of the unfinished Kirby Muxloe Castle, a look a local clubs, societies, churches and inns and a wonderful Recollections section which will feature memories of the village. The website also includes information on how to join the group and details of their lively programme of talks.

KMHG are always looking for old pictures, slides, newspaper clippings, documents, etc... relating to Kirby Muxloe's past upt to recent times. If you feel you may have something interesting that could be added, please contact the group.

If you feel your group could benefit from the Public Heritage Fund, get in touch!
